Scott came by, as a favor, to help me understand how to properly use the damper in my Isokern that was installed 19 years ago by someone else. I thought it might be broken. We initially chatted on the phone; and he said he would come by the following week. I really never expected to see him for it was a "nothing job" and it would really just be a favor. He called within a few days and was here before I knew it. He and his associate couldn't have been nicer. He would accept no compensation. I'm not building a home; but if I were, based on this experience, I would not think of using anyone else for a fireplace installation. To say that I am obsessed with the work MF Masonry did would be an understatement. Scott and team installed a mantel for us at the beginning of 2022. We had to be away from our house and they went in and did the work. Scott called to offer suggestions based on code and even was open to moving our television if we wanted. He left the place better than he found it and I came home to the most beautiful mantel I have ever seen. The workman ship is to die for. Its smooth but rustic and modern all in one swoop. We had quite a complicated job for Scott. We have 2 interior fireplaces that are open on 2 sides, as well as 2 story exterior porches with 2 more fireplaces. We were so impressed with the quality of these fireplaces versus a standard insert. They are absolutely gorgeous and will add to the value of the house should we ever have to sell it.
